Friends

The hope is that Mia will have a little brother to entertain her when Corrie and I are dropping from exhaustion. Until then, we're more than happy to have friends over to play.

Part II: The Revenge

I suppose it's well past time to go official with the news that Corrie is pregnant, and we're expecting a little boy in Late March/early April. It's been an interesting ride this time, wholly different from our roller coster with Mia. When once the concern drifted more in the direction of "what kind of parents will we be? What kind of kid will she be? What does IT all mean now?", we tend to be more focused on the logistics this time around, "when will we sleep if they're on different nap schedules? How in gods name will we keep up with the laundry? Is it possible to train the dog to do our grocery shopping?"

It goes without saying, these things too shall work out. We're overjoyed that our kids will be two years apart, and we get one boy and one girl. There'll be time for more profound musings soon enough, but wanted to just throw the doors open on the news with this post. The general consensus seems to be, with one kid, you're a guy with a kid. With two though, you're DAD.
